At the end of 2008, AVIT win the tender in Shantou Cable Digital TV Platform. AVIT will provide turnkey project of digital headends to Shantou Cable.

With 500K subscribers in South China, Shantou Cable will build up a digital TV platform with 130 digital channels on 27 frequencies. The platform provides SD, HD and information service to the end user.
